Alert5 appeared on the BBC news last week after filming at Benenden Girls School in Kent. Benenden Girls School have adopted Alert5 and will be offering the App to its students and parents alike.

As part of the filming, Jon Rowe, a friend of Alert5 told of how Alert5 has helped him in the past as he is a Muscular Dystrophy sufferer and it has given him greater independence knowing that he has a friend or family member close at hand if he falls. 

Similarly, Jon’s family is happy that he has Alert5 on his phone as they know he can contact them if needed
